Agency Beat — Privacy Policy
Effective August 3, 2026
Who we are
Agency Beat is operated by SME Advantage LLC, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, USA. Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].
What we collect
To run monitoring on your behalf, we store: account identifiers from the platform you connect (your company and account identifiers); an alert-delivery email address (by default the email on your connected account, editable in settings); monitor configuration (the URLs and targets you choose to monitor and their check settings); monitoring results (the history of checks, incidents, and alerts for your monitors); and read-only access credentials that let us perform monitoring against your connected account.
We request only the minimum read-only access needed to operate the Service. We do not read your contacts, CRM records, or marketing data, and we do not use your data to train models, build profiles, or serve advertising. We never sell your data.
When your connected platform notifies us of new activity — a new contact, opportunity or appointment — we record only that an event of that type occurred, when it occurred, and the platform's own delivery reference for it. We never read or store the contact's details: names, email addresses, phone numbers and message contents are not extracted from the notification and never reach our database. These event records are kept for every account you connect, whether or not you have set up a monitor for that signal.
How we use it
Solely to run the monitoring and alerting you configure: performing checks, sending alerts to your chosen recipient, and displaying your dashboards.
Who we share it with (sub-processors)
Cloudflare — application hosting and data storage. Resend — delivery of alert emails. If you enable the optional workflow-delivery upgrade, alert payloads are sent to the webhook URL you provide, on your instruction.
Retention
Monitoring history (check results and resolved incidents) is pruned automatically on a rolling schedule while you are using the Service.
When you uninstall, monitoring stops immediately and we delete the access credentials we hold for that account. Your monitoring data — checks, incidents, activity history and alert settings — is deleted 90 days after uninstall. Reinstall within those 90 days and your monitors and settings are still there; after that, you start fresh. We keep a minimal installation record, without personal details, so a returning customer stays recognisable.
Support correspondence and company contact details are kept for 3 years after our business relationship ends, as our own business records.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner — email [email protected] and we will action it.
Security
Credentials are stored server-side and never exposed in the dashboard; data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and how long we keep it.
International transfers
Our sub-processors operate globally, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on these providers' standard data-protection terms.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold by contacting us; we action these requests manually rather than automatically. Uninstalling the Service deletes the access credentials we hold for that account immediately, and your monitoring data on the schedule set out under Retention above.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
